rapid-deployment negative pressure isolation rooms & field hospitals
Domedix revolutionizes the way governments and public health officials respond to health crises like the recent coronavirus pandemic. Our lightweight yet robust design means our structures can be shipped quickly across the world and erected with lightning speed. Complete with powerful fan units to ensure constant negative pressure (clean outside air is sucked in while contaminated air remains inside), HEPA filters, UVGI irradiation, sensors, toilet and shower amenities, lighting and more, our unique field hospital structures are ideal for accommodating hospital overflow, quarantining infected patients, plus providing emergency medical treatment in a variety of locations.
rapid-deployment negative pressure isolations rooms & field hospitals
quick shipping & set up
Our NPIR-12S mobile negative pressure isolation rooms are compact, lightweight and can fit on air-freight, ensuring rapid and economical deployment in emergency situations. On-site assembly of your field hospital is a breeze. The HEPA-filter + UVC light scrubbers are conveniently built into a wheeled unit for ease of assembly. As the globe contends with evolving pandemics and public health crises, Domedix delivers a rapid-deployment negative pressure isolation room that is as dynamic as the challenge.
anti-viral protection
A high-powered air blower at the exhaust creates a constant negative pressure in the internal areas of Domedix’s negative pressure isolation rooms, meaning that any air contaminated by viral particles will not rush out into the atmosphere, but pass through the HEPA/UVC light filter contained within the exhaust module. This effectively creates a hermetically-sealed field hospital space for the treatment and triage of patients infected with diseases like COVID-19, Monkey pox and more.
cost-effective
Domedix’s innovative design utilize low-cost but effective materials to produce a product far more affordable and easily deployable than traditional field hospitals and mobile isolation tents. As governments and public health bodies around the world scramble to respond to the latest health emergency and prepare themselves for the next global pandemic, we are proud to offer an effective and economical solution perfectly suited to overstretched hospitals and the developing world.
what is a negative pressure isolation room?
Negative pressure isolation rooms utilise negative air pressure differentials to ensure that air contaminated by infected persons does not escape from the enclosed treatment area, therefore posing a potential infection risk. Powerful fans continually blow air out of the room, meaning the air pressure inside the space is lower than adjoining rooms or the outside world, which results in clean air rushing into the infected zone rather than vice versa. These fans are integrated into fan filter units (FFUs) that also contain HEPA filters and optional ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) air scrubbers, which act to disinfect the disease-laden air before it is released into the surrounding rooms or areas. Negative pressure isolation rooms are regarded as the ‘gold standard’ in infection control and an integral part of any strategy to prevent the spread of airborne diseases.
